My review of LOCKE

This is my first book by this author. Yes I know it's the fifth in the series and I can see you all reading this and thinking wow she's missing out on a lot. Well I'm not going to argue as this book was brilliant and now I'm wishing I started at book one. This book can be read as a standalone but I do think I'd have connected more with the secondary characters if I'd have read this series in order.

Ok onto this story. This was a brilliant read. Locke is oh so hot. He's broken. Emmy is his light but he keeps her at a distance so she don't get hurt. Can these two broken souls get past their hurt and pain and find light at the end of the tunnel?

I sat down to read a few pages of this and didn't put the kindle down until Id finished. I loved every minute of it. I'll certainly be looking into the other books in the series cos if they are as hot as Locke I don't wanna lose out :)

My review of The Colors Of Us

This was a really great read from an author whose books I've not read before.

Hunters oh so sexy. Even his name oozes sexiness. Living with guilt he doesn't think much of himself and ends up throwing himself into women and alcohol. Michelle's left running from her past which has left her damaged. When these two get together it's electrifying.

Great story with brilliant main characters that came across as real. The secondary characters added to the story and I loved the storyline.
So looking forward to reading more from this author.

My review of Temper For You

Yes I did it again. I jumped into book three without reading the previous books. I'm not complaining as this was a great read and I now have two more books that I wanna read.

Wes always gets what he wants and he wants Meg. Finding out that they are neighbours they decide to be sex buddies. But is that really enough and what happens when they start having feelings? Both of these have a past that wanna keep secret. Will that hold them back?

Really enjoyed this story. The characters came across as real and I loved the storyline. The suspense had me gripped and I read this in a day.

My review of Seize Me From Darkness

This is my first book by this author and it  certainly won't be the last. This is a really dark mind twisting read. I read this in one sitting as I seriously needed to read it and find out what was gonna happen next.

This is a story of kidnapping, slavery and submission. It's not for the faint hearted. It's not a romance. It's a story of sick twisted minds. Having said that I absolutely loved it. Yes I must be twisted.
After reading this I told my partner a recap of the story. His face was a picture as he said 'I thought you only read romance ' lol he now keeps asking what kinda book I'm reading lol

Well done Cari on such a fantastic story. I'm so looking forward to reading more by you:)

My review of ROMAN

Absolutely loved this story.  It's a really dark and twisted read. I HAD TO read this in one sitting. There was no way Roman would let me put my kindle down until Id finished it.

The author told this story in a way that the characters were talking directly to you. Looking back after reading it I'm surprised I didn't wet myself with fright that such a bad and sadistic man was talking directly to me.

Roman is Satan. He doesn't excuse himself for what he's done. He's sadistic. He enjoys raping, beating and killing women. Twelve women so far- will Mac be number thirteen? Mac ( Heather) has her own agenda for 'running into' Roman. But has she gone too far?

My emotions were all over the place with this book. One minute I hated the characters and the next minute I loved them. Total mind f**k.

I've read over 450 books so far this year and this is certainly on my top ten. This ends in a oh shit cliff hanger. Usually I prefer to read books with cliffhangers when the next book is out but not with this one. I'm so happy I experienced this read.

This is a really dark and angsty read-behind-the-cushion kinda story. To say I loved it is an understatement!!!
